We have had her for 15 years in early December. She was from the dogs home and was supposed to be 3. So she could be anything from 16 and a half to 18. I remember when you got Dixie. Cant believe she is 15. x
Crikey, what a wonderful age for a dog! Dixie is totally deaf now - has been for at least a year :) Can't let her off the lead anymore, coz you can't get her back - she can't hear you call!
Cassie is the same. She cant see very well either. we end up clapping and jumping up and down for her to see us. We dare not let her off any more either. Good thing about being deaf, the fireworks no longer scare them.
Is that Cassie?
ReplyDeleteyes Chrissie it is Cassie in the fields near our home xx
DeleteYes it is. She is getting very old now but still plodding along xx
ReplyDeleteHow old is she then? Older than Dixie?
