Purple Rose: meaning

The meaning of a purple rose depends 

on the shade of the  rose.  It primarily 
stands for enchantment but also signifies 
mysticism, royalty and love.The light tones 
of purple will express love at first sight and 
real love. A darker tone of the purple rose 
will reveal a much deeper and long term
 love.  Therefore the giver of a purple rose 
seeks to convey that he or she has fallen 
in love with the recipient.

Being the combination of red and blue, the warmest
and coolest colours, purple is believed to be the ideal
colour. Purple has been used to symbolise magic and mystery as well as royalty. It is the colour of good
judgement and if you surround yourself with purple you will have peace of mind. Purple is therefore a good colour to use in meditation. If purple is your favourite colour it means that you are sensitive and compassionate, understanding and supportive. You think of others before yourself and you are the person others come to for help but don't let people take advantage of you. You are a free and gentle spirit but your feelings run deep and you can be quite sensitive to hurtful comments from others, although you would never show it.
